Gear Coupling

Product Description Jaw-Flex Couplings designed to transmit torque between rotating shafts while accommodating minor shaft misalignment and reducing the transmission of vibration and shock loads. These flexible couplings consist of two metallic hubs and an elastomeric spider positioned between the jaws of the hubs. Jaw-Flex Couplings provide a compact, easy-to-install solution for connecting motors to pumps, gearboxes, compressors and other rotating machinery. The flexible spider helps absorb torsional vibration and protects connected equipment from certain operational shocks. Available in different sizes, hub configurations and elastomer materials, these couplings can be selected according to torque, speed, shaft diameter and operating conditions. Technical Specifications Product Name: Jaw-Flex Coupling Coupling Type: Flexible Jaw Coupling Main Components: Two coupling hubs and an elastomeric spider Hub Materials: Aluminium, cast iron, steel or other materials, depending on model Spider Materials: Polyurethane (PU), NBR or other compatible elastomers, depending on grade Connection Type: Shaft-to-shaft flexible coupling Bore Size: Available for different shaft diameters Torque Capacity: Model-specific Operating Speed: As specified by the manufacturer Misalignment Capacity: Limited angular, parallel and axial flexibility, depending on design Installation: Direct mounting on compatible shafts Customization: Bore, keyway and hub configuration, subject to availability Key Features Efficient torque transmission between connected shafts.
